Most writers fall for the perfection trap.
The truth is, there is fear behind it. They are afraid that they’re work is not good enough.
And I am one of those writers who fell for that trap.
So today, I’m publishing an imperfect post. Because I want to get out of this trap. I don’t want to stay here any longer. I know I have a message and I have a lot to say and write about. I’m going to hit publish, even if it’s not perfect. (I still tried to make it good!)
Are you pushing off your writing because your idea isn’t perfect? The timing isn’t perfect? I want you to know…
It’s okay to be imperfect.
It’s okay to make mistakes.
Don’t go for perfection.
If you wait for perfection, writer’s block sneaks in. Procrastination steals your time. Doubt creeps into your mind. Overcome perfection syndrome by not being afraid to be wrong. By taking risks. By taking action.
Done is better than perfect.
